Miriam received her degree in Occupational Therapy from New York University in 1995. In her 26 years of experience, she has received advanced training in sensory integration, astronaut training,  self-regulation, Therapeutic Listening, reflex integration,  Handwriting Without Tears, and  MEDEK. She has worked with children of all ages in a variety of pediatric settings, including Early Intervention, preschools, elementary schools, and middle schools. Miriam opened a private practice sensory gym in 2012 where she staffs 15 therapists that were personally trained by her in Brooklyn, and added another location in Queens with 10 therapists. Miriam and her team offer services at the gym, at playgroups, schools, and in some instances children's homes. She began working at Yachad's IVDU school in 2013 part-time as a staff therapist seeing children of all ages.
